Medical Assistant under the supervision of a Colleague Health Nurse is responsible for the delivery of the customer focused clinical programs of Colleague Health Services which promote the health and safety of all HHC colleagues The Medical Assistant Ensures regulatory compliance with OSHA Standards CDC Guidelines and applicable federalstate guidance for healthcare workers Responsibilities include but are not limited to the followingUnder the supervision of a Colleague Health Nurse implements health promotion programs and illnessinjury prevention programs to prevent occupational injury and health problems Programs include universal vaccination respiratory protection tuberculosis surveillance blood borne pathogens hearing conservation and environmental safetyCompletes appropriate documentation in electronic health records and other associated programs based on OSHA Standards CDC Guidelines and applicable federalstate guidance for healthcare workersParticipates in the communication and outstanding collaboration and interpersonal skillsExtremely detail oriented with exceptional follow throughStrong collaboration and team work to share knowledge and influence best practicesEffectively prioritize work in support of multiple competing programs and projectsDemonstrated ability to work in fast paced ambiguous and dynamic environmentBe flexible and available to interact with colleagues at all levelsSelf directed and opportunity drivenInterested in remaining current in established field through participation in seminars networking and awareness of external
