Colleague Relations Partner
**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** Day Shift **Description:** The HR Partner Colleague Relations is a trusted partner, providing guidance and colleague relations subject matter support to Regional Health Ministry (RHM) based managers and colleagues in promoting and fostering of a fair, positive, and collaborative working environment. In collaboration with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and Colleague and Labor Relations Center of Expertise (COE) leadership and peers, the HR Partner Colleague Relations supports the implementation and management of colleague relations policies, processes, and programs. The HR Partner Colleague Relations regularly interacts with RHM management, colleagues, and Colleague and Labor Relations COE leadership to collectively manage, resolve, and trend colleague relations matters, including planning and conducting investigations, responding to internal colleague complaints, and supporting colleague relations initiatives and projects. The HR Partner Colleague Relations adds value to the organization by providing colleague relations guidance and recommendations with a focus on enabling the achievement of MercyOne Trinity Health's Strategic Aims to realize a person-centered, mission-focused colleague culture. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: + Meets Health System's Guiding Behaviors and Caring Standards including interpersonal communication and professional conduct expectations. + Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the MercyOne Trinity Health Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions. + In conjunction with the Regional Director/Manager, Colleague Relations, BPs and the Colleague and Labor Relations Center of Expertise (COE) leadership, supports work efforts involving the planning, defining, and application of colleague and relations policies, processes, programs and initiatives within their Regional Health Ministry (RHM)/organization. + Ensures HR compliance and consistency in the administration, application, and delivery of colleague relations policies and services; partners with key internal customers as directed including Risk Management, Legal Services, and Integrity and Compliance. + Supports the Problem Resolution Process involving colleague relations matters, conducting investigations as needed, documenting findings and outcomes, and making appropriate and objective recommendations to management for resolution. + Provides administrative support for colleague relations related inquiries such as but not limited to reviewing and responding to escalated and compliance flagged colleague exit interviews; processing Workday transactions, time and attendance and leave of absence matters; file preparation and compilation; ensuring compliance on other HR-related policies and processes wherein non-compliance results in employment actions (i.e. annual Influenza/TB testing, testing mandatories, and licenses and certifications); identifying and reporting on colleague relations trends. + Under the direction of the Regional Director/Manager and in collaboration with RHM management and HR Business Partners (HRBPs), supports the implementation of specific response strategies and tactics to address organizational colleague relations matters, when necessary. + When required and necessary, coordinates specific colleague relations management training, such as Just Culture and other employment law focused trainings. + Advocates for fair and consistent workplace practices in accordance with MercyOne Trinity Health's mission, Core Values, and other applicable legal parameters. + Maintains advanced knowledge of applicable Federal, State and local laws/regulations; the MercyOne Trinity Health Integrity and Compliance Program and Code of Conduct; as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behavior. + Demonstrated knowledge of employment laws and their application in operating environments is required. + Ability to respond to variable situations requiring analytical, interpretive, evaluative and constructive thinking abilities. Strong logical and deductive reasoning abilities. + Ability to support a change management and process improvement work environment. + Demonstrated interpersonal skills and communication both written and verbal with considerable ability to interact effectively with multiple levels of the organization. + Proven customer-service orientation. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess knowledge of state and federal laws, regulations and requirements related to HR, colleague relations, colleague dispute resolution, and fostering a positive working environment as normally acquired through completion of Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Labor and Industrial Relations or a related field, with three (3) or more years of experience in related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. **Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion** Trinity Health is one of the largest not-for-profit, Catholic healthcare systems in the nation.
