Job Summary

Maintain low delinquency and ensure sub-standard leases and loans are at a minimum across Flagstar Financial’s lines of business. Average a minimum of 75 calls / emails per day to resolve past due delinquencies.

Hourly Pay Range: $23.73 - $30.26 - $36.78

Pay Range: Local Minimum Wage - $0.00 - $0.00

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for contacting past due obligors across FF's lines of business- indirect vehicle leases, taxi medallion, indirect/direct equipment leases & loans via telephone, emails & correspondence (collection letters) Contact obligors and follow for resolution of past due payments.Contact obligors and follow for resolution of past due payments.Accept payments via check by phone or the receipt of checks via mail or hand delivery. Ensure any payments are forwarded to the appropriate party.Work closely with other departments to solve disputed transactions; communicate any issues with 3rd party / ESOs. Escalate difficult clients to a Senior Collections Specialist when desired results are not achieved.Research directories, public records, various other search engines in order to obtain valid contact information.

Required Qualifications

2 years' experience within a collection department requiredEducation Level Required: High school diploma or general education degree

Preferred Qualifications

Commercial lending knowledgeCommunicate effectively (verbally and written)
