As a Loss Mitigation Specialist in our Collections Team, you will collect on past due accounts and communicate effectively with customers in a metrics-driven environment. You will navigate multiple technologies while staying engaged with customers, demonstrating excellent negotiation and decision-making skills. Your strong customer focus and ability to have detailed conversations will be key to your success.

Job Responsibilities:

Collect on past due accounts while maintaining a focus on business results. Communicate comfortably with customers in a metrics-driven environment. Navigate multiple technologies while staying engaged with customers. Possess excellent negotiation and decision-making skills, along with strong communication abilities. Maintain a strong customer focus, treating customers with respect and responding with empathy. Demonstrate sensitivity and compassion in difficult situations. Exhibit personal excellence, including punctuality, integrity, and accountability. Work independently and as part of a team, thinking critically and exercising independent judgment.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

High school diploma or GED required. Willingness to work in an environment that requires 100% phone-based customer interaction. Minimum of two years of customer interaction 

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

Auto and collections experience preferred. Previous negotiation skills are strongly preferred. support experience, either by phone or face-to-face, is strongly preferred. Proficiency with basic computer functions, including mouse and keyboard usage, launching applications, conducting searches on the Internet, and maneuvering in a Windows-based environment, is strongly preferred.
