Collections Analyst
Volt is immediately hiring a Collections Analyst in Woburn, MA.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThe Collections Analyst is responsible for reconciling and reducing receivable balances within an assigned portfolio by interpreting lease language or reviewing purchase orders, auditing billing amounts, researching pay histories and collecting past due balances on rent or purchase order-based receivables. The results are measured by an over 60-day Gross accounts receivable (\"\"AR\"\") (inclusive of over 90) balance reduction goal. The incumbent will be responsible for managing a high call volume and consistent follow up to resolve past due balances.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\tCollect and reconcile receivable balances for existing customer base, driving the balance through to resolution and ensuring that billing is accurate going forward.\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\tAudit lease documents or purchase orders to validate billing, identify necessary billing adjustments and complete paperwork to support changes.\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\tInitiate telephone contact and maintain proper follow up with assigned customer(s) and initiate timely escalation for Supervisor review when needed.\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\tAdminister past due or default notices and work with department management to decide if account should be written off, taken to litigation or sent to collection agency.\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\tMaintain current collection notes at the contract, parent, or transaction level using t SunGard’s Get Paid AR software.\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\tEstablish and maintain positive interactions with internal departments such as Leasing Operations, Legal, Site Acquisitions, Site Leasing Management, Engineering, Acquisition, Zoning and Permitting (AZP) and Redevelopment to resolve customer disputes in a timely manner.\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\tProvide timely and accurate AR reporting for contracts or invoice aging balances.\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\tSupport a high volume of customers by following defined collection strategy for making daily calls to customers and following up on arrangements made for resolution of outstanding balances.\r\n\t\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThis is a full time opportunity.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThe ideal candidate will have:\r\n\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\tCapability to work independently with limited supervision from the Supervisor.\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\tStrong sense of urgency and aggressiveness to collect balances associated with wireless and broadcast customers\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\tExcellent customer service skills.\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\tAbility to work in a high volume, fast paced environment.\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\tAbility to research and analyze lease documents and purchase orders.\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\tExperience working with or reviewing various financial statements.\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\tExperience with debt collection is preferred.\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\tHigh School Diploma or GED\r\n\t\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nPay Rate: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour\r\n\r\n*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nQualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
