Key Areas of Responsibility\nand Roles:
Responsible for all collections activities on 1 or more\nportfolios of customers. Activities include establishing and maintaining\ncontact with customers (may include travel) concerning open invoices, looking\nat payment trends and history, timely escalation and/or resolution of disputes\nand timely escalation of collection issues to the business
Responsible for the accurate cash receipts forecast on the\nassigned portfolio(s) on a monthly basis
Responsible for ensuring collection and forecast metrics are\nachieved on the assigned portfolio(s)
Analysis of financial information and/or any other relevant\ninformation of assigned customers in order to assess credit risk and make\nnecessary recommendations to the business
Build relationships with relevant business partners to ensure a smooth\ncooperation between the Credit department and the business(es) that own the\nassigned portfolios
Adds value to the business by consistently improving processes and maximizing\ncash flow for the assigned portfolios
Responsible for Unapplied Cash resolution and prevention
Prepare reports and attend cash calls with Business
Drive dispute resolution and ensure resolved disputes are\ncleared on a timely manner.
Participate on Continuous Improvement process by contributing to\nimprovement ideas monthly while using RPS Techniques (5Why, Fishbone, Gembas)
Build Customer Rapport and effectively manage Past Dues via\ncalls to customers and other communication channels (Email, Sales Force,\nPortal)
Manages a portfolio of Customer Segment A & B (with focus on\ndigital based on regional specifics: Direct Debit, ACH, EDI, SDI, E-Commerce,\nCredit Cards)
Education and Qualifications:
Experience\nin finance, accounting, collections or any other Accounts Receivables\ndepartment.
Experience required:
2\nor more years of directly related experience, preferably in credit/collections.
Professional Skills and\nKnowledge:
Requires knowledge of basic accounting principles and has\nexcellent knowledge of cash collection processes and risk analysis practices.
Excellent credit skills required in areas such as insurance,\nletters of credit, financing, and legal environment.
Strong problem solving, interpersonal, and financial analysis skills
Goal oriented, motivated self-starter, with excellent organizational skills and\nthe ability to handle multiple tasks.
Excellent communication skills to perform calls and negotiation\nwith customers
Excellent written, and presentation skills with the ability to deal tactfully,\nconfidently, and ethically with both internal and external customers.
Strong PC skills with proficiency in Excel and experience with other Microsoft\nOffice products: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access
Knowledge of SAP A/R , SalesForce systems highly desirable.
Fluent English necessary. Knowledge of 1+ other languages is a plus:
