Summary
The Accounts Receivable (AR) Team is responsible for supporting the collections process by managing a portfolio of customer accounts to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices from current to AR30 invoices. This role involves contacting customers, resolving payment issues, and maintaining accurate records to help improve the company’s cash flow and reduce aged receivables.
Essential Functions
2. Collaborate with internal teams and Sales to track job progress and ensure accurate billing.
3. Assist with job closeout documentation and other requirements needed to induce payment, such as lien waivers, CIP reporting, and Certified Payroll reporting.
4. Ensure accurate application of payments to customer accounts and update records accordingly.
5. Communicate with customers as needed to gather information, resolve rejected pay applications, and negotiate acceptance of monthly pay applications.
6. Maintain detailed records of all billing activities and support documentation.
7. Prepare and submit regular reports on the status of assigned accounts as needed to management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or a related field.(S) Excellent communication and negotiation skills. (A) Ability to identify and resolve problems.(K) Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
