Have you performed or have had similar experience in conducting analyses using defined guidelines processes and procedures to assist in a variety of routine credit and collections activities? Then look no further as we have the perfect opportunity for you.
Our Collections and Credit Representative I will monitor and provide customer contact on situations for high dollar delinquency, deposit warning/requests, customer payment arrangements, medical authorizations, and disconnections of service due to nonpayment, while providing excellent customer service.

What you will do:
Review past-due customer accounts and make contact with the customer to ensure payment or arrangement is made
Evaluate past-due accounts and determine if a deposit needs to be applied
Transfer balances between accounts and ensure debt is properly aged
Provide routine analysis and determination of unauthorized use of service (fraud/theft), bill for such service and work with the customer to ensure payment is made
Collaborate with other Enbridge Gas groups within and outside customer service
Provide general analysis and reporting on customer medical authorizations, lease/ID verifications, and customer disputes
Provide routine metrics toward meeting objectives set by management
Review accounts with returned payments
Work with Field Collectors to ensure notices are delivered to customers
Locate outstanding balances through skip tracing methods
Maintain contact with Collection Agencies to ensure accurate reporting of accounts, provide itemizations, resolve disputes, and authorization of Legal action
Who you are:
You have:
0-2 years of directly related experience along with a High School diploma/GED
Solid understanding of customer account systems with the ability to learn quickly, apply knowledge and judgement, problem solve, take action and follow through
You can:
Establish and maintain strong working rapport with collaborative partners while being analytical and solving problems
Show a basic understanding of billing system and processes for various rate schedules along with having knowledge of company policies and procedures, including credit policy, energy assistance programs (state assistance programs and system functions), REACH, external program payment plans and conservation programs
You are:
An excellent written and verbal communicator in person and over the phone and able to multitask and handle a wide variety of duties and responsibilities
Proficient with the Microsoft excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, process mapping and database applications
Working Conditions:
Work performed in typical office environment 76-100% of the time with up to 25% travel

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:
Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
