Description We are looking for a proficient Collections Manager to join our team in the service industry based in Chicago, Illinois. As a Collections Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing customer credit applications, maintaining precise customer credit records, and handling customer inquiries. You will also monitor customer accounts and execute necessary actions. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Oversee the process of customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency • Ensure proper maintenance of customer credit records • Manage customer inquiries and resolve any issues • Monitor customer accounts and execute appropriate measures as necessary • Handle B2B collections efficiently • Utilize CRM for customer relationship management • Perform accounting functions as required • Oversee accounts receivable (AR) and ensure smooth operations • Manage billing functions effectively • Oversee the order to cash process. Requirements • Proven experience in B2B collections, demonstrating an ability to handle large accounts and maintain strong client relationships • Proficiency in using CRM software to manage and track customer interactions and information • Thorough understanding of accounting functions and principles to manage financial records and transactions accurately • Extensive knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, including tracking payments and ensuring prompt collection of revenues • Experience in managing billing functions, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing to clients • Familiarity with the 'Order to Cash' process, including order management, invoicing, and cash application.
