**29113BR** **Service Line:** Office Management/Administration **Office Name:** Corporate **Job Description:** **General Responsibilities:** Responsible for coordinating the accurate and timely collections for an engineering consulting firm. **Essential Roles and Responsibilities:** + Under immediate supervision, performs administrative tasks to support collections department. + Create and follow-up on client demand letters to assist in collection activities. + Submit client accounts to third party agency vendors as directed. + Process bankruptcy notifications and follow-up on bankruptcy cases until resolved. + Proactively escalate cases involving slow-paying or non-paying customers, while simultaneously recommending potential strategies for the next course of action to mitigate financial risks and maintain the company's fiscal health. + Manage/distribute department's daily incoming mail. + Maintain and document all interactions taking place during collection efforts and follow-up on delinquent accounts in a timely manner. + Monitor Collections e-mail inbox, responding to all questions and inquires within 2 business days. + Support the company’s quality management programs by providing effective customer service to internal and external customers. + Follow safety rules, guidelines, and standards for all projects. + Participate in pre-task planning. + Report any safety issues or concerns to management. + Maintain quality standards on all projects. + Perform other various duties assigned by Supervisor. **Requirements:** + High School diploma or equivalent. + Minimum 2 year related experience. + Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history. **Exemption:** Non-exempt **Requisition ID:** 29113BR **Posting Title:** Collections Representative **Employment Type:** Regular, Full Time **City, State (Office Location):** Olathe, KS **About Terracon:** Terracon is a 100 percent employee-owned multidiscipline consulting firm comprised of more than 6,000 curious minds focused on solving engineering and technical challenges from more than 175 locations nationwide.
