Job Title: Collections Representative
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Collections Representative to join our team. This role is a contract-to-hire position with a hybrid work schedule. The initial 1 to 2 months will require full-time on-site work, after which you will be required to work on-site 2 to 3 days per week, with Wednesdays being mandatory. This position offers the potential for long-term employment with opportunities for internal growth.
Responsibilities
+ Make an average of 80+ outbound calls per day to collect outstanding balances.
+ Handle 20-30 inbound calls per day generated from email blast campaigns.
+ Follow up via email to notify clients of outstanding balances.
+ Notate accounts using CRM systems and Excel.
+ Navigate phone calls to facilitate potential collections.
+ Attempt to collect payments during phone calls.
+ Settle accounts as needed.
+ Provide daily reporting on activities.
+ Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Essential Skills
+ At least 2 to 3 years of outbound first-party collections experience.
+ Basic knowledge of collection laws, including FDCPA.
+ Capability to work independently and stay focused while remote.
+ Excellent investigation and resolution skills.
+ Resilience and self-driven attitude.
+ Strong communication skills to settle past due accounts.
+ Exceptional listening skills.
+ Ability to multi-task.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ First priority merchant services collections experience.
+ Sales experience.
+ Business-to-business collections experience.
+ Experience with Google Suite.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
