Looking for an on-site Collections Representative for a 3-month contract in Oakland/Alameda. Description Provides advanced administrative support in the payment posting function, including posting, documentation, record-keeping, reconciliation, and research. Required Experience: -Cash Posting Specialist II or one year of experience in the class of Cash Posting Specialist I or in an equivalent or higher clerical class with Alameda Health System, or Equivalent of two years' experience performing banking or cash posting functions. -Working knowledge in Accounts Receivable department processes on patient payment electronic and manual posting, insurance payments electronic and manual posting. -Working knowledge of Explanations of Benefits (EOB) and Remittance Advices (RA). Additional Skills & Qualifications Preferred Experience: Posting payments in a Medical Office. Required Education: High School diploma or GED.
