Key Position Details:

Candidates must live in Minnesota or Wisconsin and be able to travel to the office for training, resolving computer issues, and attending required onsite meetings.

Full time position with no weekends scheduledA high-speed internet connection and a copper wire landline phone are necessary for this role.Benefit-eligible position

Job Description:

This position is responsible for initiating calls with patients to collect payments and settle accounts. Follows-up on accounts, receives and processes payments, and updates incomplete and missing account information. Collaborates with patients to create payment arrangements and counsels patients on financial assistance programs.

Principle Responsibilities

Coordinates the resolution of unpaid accounts.Receives and resolves calls from patients, insurance companies, attorneys, and departments.Obtains and processes payments.Collaborates with patients to create payment arrangements.Updates incomplete and missing account information.Documents collection activities.Other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description0 to 2 years of experience in a call center, medical, insurance, or collections


Preferred Qualifications

High school diploma or GEDAssociate's or Vocational degree in business, healthcare, or related field0 to 2 years of experience using a 10-key keyboard0 to 2 years of medical terminology knowledge0 to 2 years of experience using Microsoft Office
