Temp-to-Hire position$19.50 /hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 07:00pm)Candidates are eligible to earn monthly and quarterly bonuses after 90 days of good performanceCandidates must be available between the hours of 6AM-7PM.Candidates will be scheduled a random time zone. Candidates must be available for trainingDuties:
Perform cash collections activities for institutional loans, private loans, cash payment plan collections, and past-due collections for all inactive student accounts- 80-100 outbound calls dailyEnsure all regulatory requirements are adhered to in regards to collection activitiesResponsible for outbound calls, e-mailing and/or sending letters to inactive students with past due balances to obtain paymentsEnsures the collection goals assigned are met each month and strives to exceed this goalEnsures the proper number of collection activities are performed per day/week to meet account collection goals set by supervisorPerform skip tracing activities in locating borrowersAssist in data collections and report preparation on an on-going basis as requiredCollections Specialist Qualifications:
Six months to one year of 3rd party collections or last stage collectionsStrong interpersonal and positive relationship management skills. Sensitivity to students and families of diverse socio-economic backgroundsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to analyze numbersAbility to work with Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
