Collections Specialist
Description We are in search of a Collections Specialist to become part of our team in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. The primary role of this position involves handling commercial purpose loans and communicating with borrowers. This role also entails the maintenance and update of relevant information with the loan servicing team and ensuring all activities are documented accurately. Responsibilities • Engage in discussions with borrowers regarding their loan status and formulate payment plans as required. • Examine the borrower's financial circumstances and loan payment history for better understanding. • Collaborate with the loan servicing team in maintaining updated and accurate information. • Document all collection activities and contacts accurately in the loan servicing system. • Regularly update the management about collection activities and the status of overdue loans. • Adhere to the company's policies and regulatory guidelines to uphold the company's reputation and financial stability. • Utilize CRM Sales Tracking Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe daily for effective data management and organization. • Operate in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines and consistently achieve team goals. • Handle customer inquiries and resolve them efficiently. • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action. Yes - Other Insurance: Life and Disability - Retirement Plan: 401k with a 3% match - PTO: 3 weeks Requirements • The applicant must have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably as a Collections Specialist. • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required. • Familiarity with Accurint is considered essential. • Experience in using ADP - Financial Services is needed. • The candidate should be well-versed in CRM. • Knowledge of Epic Software is considered a plus. • A strong understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary. • The applicant should be comfortable with Answering Inbound Calls. • Experience in Billing Functions is a must. • Knowledge of Claim Administration would be advantageous. • The candidate should be familiar with Collection Processes.
