Description We are welcoming a Collections Specialist to our team located in Dallas, Texas, 75212, United States. As a Collections Specialist, your role will revolve around managing a portfolio of business accounts, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining robust customer relationships. Responsibilities: • Engage in regular communication with customers through phone, email, and written correspondence to address overdue accounts. • Collaborate with different departments such as sales and billing to resolve customer concerns effectively. • Undertake timely research and resolution of payment discrepancies, billing errors, and disputes. • Keep record of all customer interactions and account status up to date. • Implement negotiation of payment plans or arrangements when required, in line with company policies. • Regularly monitor collection activities and provide updates to management. • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and applicable laws in all debt collection activities. • Utilize accounting software and Microsoft Excel to manage a high volume of accounts while maintaining attention to detail. • Leverage excellent customer service skills to maintain strong relationships with business customers. • Use problem-solving skills to resolve discrepancies and negotiate terms for overdue payments. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role as a Collections Specialist. • Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems. • Comprehensive understanding and experience in Collection Processes. • Skilled in Microsoft Excel for maintaining and analyzing data. • Experience in B2B collections is highly desired. • Excellent Customer Service skills. • Ability to Resolve Discrepancies in a fast-paced environment. • Strong skills in Customer Communication, both verbally and in writing. • Proven ability to Negotiate Terms with customers regarding overdue payments. • Experience in dealing with Overdue Payments, including setting up payment plans and follow-up.
