Description Our respected client in Vista is looking for a persistent yet empathetic Collections Specialist to join their team. Your duty will be to manage and collect on unpaid debts owed by customers. This is a great chance for you to utilize your interpersonal skills, base pay plus uncapped commission potential and strong negotiating skills in ways that balance customer service with financial results. Responsibilities: + Locate and establish contact with debtors to inquire of their payment status. + Negotiate payoff deadlines and payment plans. + Handle customer credit files, credit applications, and maintain customer files. + Ensure all customer information is correct, including phone numbers and addresses. Requirements + At least 2 years experience in collections. + Experience in working with targets and tight deadlines. + Advanced negotiation and persuasion skills. + Proficient with regulatory standards of collections.
