Description We are offering a contract for a Collections Specialist position in Anderson, Indiana, United States. As a Collections Specialist, your primary focus will be handling B2B collections for both large retail chains and small businesses while maintaining accurate customer credit accounts. Responsibilities: • Manage B2B collections from a portfolio of large retail chains and small businesses. • Maintain, update, and review aged accounts ensuring accuracy and efficiency. • Handle customer inquiries, resolving any issues or concerns regarding their credit accounts. • Use Microsoft Excel to configure spreadsheets, set up templates, and perform pivot tables & vlookups. • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on account status. • Collaborate with other team members during busy seasonal periods to ensure all customer accounts are managed efficiently. • Utilize the SAP ERP system for customer account management and data analysis. Requirements • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role as a Collections Specialist. • Demonstrated expertise in Commercial Collections. • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. • Proven ability to negotiate payment terms and follow up on overdue accounts. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with clients. • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounts and priorities. • Ability to work independently and make decisions based on established guidelines. • Analytical skills to assess customer financials and credit risk. • Detail-oriented and ability to maintain accurate and complete customer records. • Knowledge of relevant legal requirements and regulations related to collections.
