Description We are seeking a Collections Specialist for our operations in CHICAGO, Illinois. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. As a Collections Specialist, you will play a key role in managing customer accounts, processing applications, and resolving inquiries. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining accurate records and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: • Process customer credit applications accurately and promptly • Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer credit records • Communicate effectively with customers, addressing their inquiries and resolving issues • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions as required • Conduct inbound and outbound calls with customers, utilizing strong negotiation skills • Build positive relationships with customers, working towards resolution of outstanding balances • Respond to customer needs promptly and conduct follow-ups as necessary • Maintain accurate documentation on customer accounts across multiple systems • Ensure all activities are in compliance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as company policies • Complete administrative tasks as assigned promptly and correctly. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required • Experience with Accurint is essential • Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is a must • Proficiency in CRM is necessary • Knowledge of Epic Software is essential • Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) is required • Ability to handle Answering Inbound Calls effectively • Experience in Billing Functions is a must • Knowledge of Claim Administration is necessary • Proficiency in Collection Processes is required Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
