Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Collections Specialist in the Scientific Instrument Manufacturing industry, located in Raleigh, North Carolina, 27616-1851, United States. As a Collections Specialist, you will be in charge of managing both domestic and international accounts receivable collections, cash applications, and credit evaluations. You will also be tasked with resolving any depot or customer disputes and maintaining accurate customer records. Responsibilities: • Carry out outbound collection communications in a detail-oriented manner, aiming to reduce the delinquency of an assigned group of customers • Handle the posting of payment receipts in the ERP • Conduct account adjustments including small balance write-offs, account reconciliation and processing credit memos • Identify and resolve billing disputes promptly and efficiently • Collaborate with sales and senior management when necessary to accelerate the collection process • Assist in the evaluation of customer credit information to ensure customer credit lines are properly set • Guarantee customer records are up-to-date and accurately maintained • Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships • Undertake other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Collections Department Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Collections Specialist role or similar within the Scientific Instrument Manufacturing industry • Proficient in the use of Accounting Software Systems • Experience with ADP - Financial Services is necessary • Excellent skills in Accounts Receivable (AR) management • Proven ability to handle Answering Inbound Calls effectively • Familiarity with Billing Functions and procedures • Prior experience in Claim Administration • Deep understanding of Collection Processes and strategies For immediate consideration, please contact Ron Davis at 919-787-8226.
