Description We are looking to bring a Collections Specialist onto our team, based in Dallas, Texas, 75247, United States. In this role, you will be tasked with managing customer accounts, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records. This position offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage the accounts receivable portfolio for assigned regions. • Conduct daily collections activities, including making calls and sending emails to customers. • Maintain detailed documentation of all collection activities and customer interactions. • Utilize accounting software systems to process and reconcile customer payments. • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in payments or customer disputes. • Utilize CRM and Netsuite systems to generate and analyze aging reports, helping to identify collection priorities. • Collaborate with branch managers and sales teams to address outstanding balances. • Regularly report on collection metrics and the status of the portfolio. • Contribute to month-end closing processes by ensuring all collection activities are up-to-date. • Utilize skills in B2B collections, cash collections, and commercial collections to enhance effectiveness in the role.
