Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Collections Specialist in the Service industry in Miami, Florida. As a Collections Specialist, you will be primarily tasked with managing business-to-business collections, maintaining accurate records, and dealing with financial matters related to accounts receivable and cash applications. Responsibilities: • Carry out business to business collections through phone and email communication • Evaluate credit worthiness of clients through liaising with credit agencies • Oversee accounts receivable and ensure timely and accurate billing • Take responsibility for cash applications and maintain a systematic record • Reconciliation of subcontractor accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness • Manage and maintain the aging report for effective financial control • Handle escalation processes as necessary and in a detail oriented manner • Proficiency in both English and Spanish to effectively deal with a diverse clientele. If you have the Collections experience and are interested in hearing more about this role, please call me 786-393-4588 or email me Janet.Silva@roberthalfcom Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Collections Specialist role or similar position • Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) management • Ability to efficiently answer inbound calls • Comprehensive understanding of billing functions • Expertise in collection processes, preferably in a service industry context • Experience in B2B collections • Proven track record in cash collections • Familiarity with commercial collections • Knowledge of credit collections is required • Strong communication and negotiation skills • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and accounting software.
