Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Collections Specialist in Chicago, Illinois. This role involves managing a portfolio of delinquent accounts and ensuring the resolution of outstanding balances. Responsibilities: • Engage in regular communication with clients through phone, email, and written correspondence to collect outstanding balances. • Oversee and manage a portfolio of delinquent accounts with a focus on ensuring timely follow-up and resolution. • Collaborate with legal professionals to ensure all collections processes are compliant with legal and regulatory requirements. • Negotiate settlements or payment plans in line with the firm's policies and legal guidelines. • Utilize Juris software • Administer billing functions and claims, and answer inbound calls as part of the collections process.
