Job Description

Primary duties include collecting on delinquent accounts, recommending legal efforts based on individual circumstances, and assisting attorneys. The role involves performing customer service, making outbound calls, and negotiating payments. The ideal candidate will have proven experience with computers and software, demonstrating the ability to learn new systems quickly. The position offers extensive legal training, making collectors a hybrid between paralegals and negotiators for payment arrangements. Individuals with a sales background and a drive to achieve goals and help people resolve their issues will find this job particularly rewarding.

This position is in a team-oriented environment within a professional law firm. The work systems and building are very secure, and the firm specializes in credit collection work for large clients. Employees receive in-the-moment and constant feedback, so the ideal candidate should be able to take direction well and not be overly sensitive. Additionally, they should be willing to speak up if they notice something that requires attention. The company is long-term career-oriented with room for advancement and offers quarterly bonuses ranging from $500 to $2000 after one year of employment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00
