Looking for an experience Medical Collector I to working the the Cerritos Area.

\nJob Title: Collector I
\n
\nPay: $26.00 - $27.00
\n
\nJOB SUMMARY:
\nReimbursement Representative – Collector I is responsible for accurate and timely follow up when processing health plan correspondence, claim status, weekly days out aging report, and denial report.
\nMAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
\n1. Assures billing processes are compliant with payer requirement for Government,
\nCommercial Health Plans and Medical Group payers.
\n2. Assures accurate billing of coding and units required by payer and therapy type.
\n3. Escalate denials for IG, MAB, and TPN therapy to Level II Collector or Sr. Collector.
\n4. Analyze and rectify claims issues with payers by timely follow up of denial report or correspondence.
\n5. Ensures accuracy and completeness of payer requirements prior to timely submission of corrected claims to Health Plans, either electronic EDI or hard copy.
\n6. Assures required authorizations and medical documentation forms are in correspondence with claim submission for quick turn-around time
\n7. Reviews and assures claims are processed and paid in full according to contractual agreements.
\n8. Ensures revenue is booked according to appropriate contract allowables.
\n9. Communicates and addresses reimbursement issues with Lead/Supervisor for resolution in a timely manner.
\n10. Handles collections calls promptly with professionalism to payers and/or patients.
\n11. Must be able to prioritize, multi-task, meet goals and deadlines.
\n12. Protects patient health information by following regulations for HIPAA compliance.
\n13. Ensures daily productivity is met, minimum of 45-50 claims worked per day.
\n14. Performs other related duties as directed by Lead, Supervisor, or upper management.
\n
\nSKILLS AND ABILITIES:
\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize to meet deadlines, as well as ability to work in a collaborative manner
\nKnowledge to work with Microsoft Word and Excel
\nEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent education.
\nCandidate must be experienced with a minimum of 1-2 years office work
