To continue to advance and live into possibilities, we are recruiting a College Financial Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following core duties:
Account Reconciliation
perform account analysis, and prepare for business officer, PIs, and associate deans calculate and track all payments monitor budget transfers create/process journal vouchers maintain working knowledge of SAP/Tableau reporting, ECC, MS Excel, and University Business Policies/Procedures compile various reports (DDN, MPS, CNS, WorldPay, Authorize.net) ensure compliance and follow up on reconciliation ensure appropriate approvals/documentation is maintained with expenses Customer ServiceDemonstrate exceptional integrity and judgment and in alignment with UK’s and the college’s strategic plans. Good communication skills, ability to multitaskProcessing Financial Transactions knowledge on all procurement procedures/assist with processing accounting documents when necessary (SRMs/PRDs/Procard) serve as subject matter expert for purchasing documents such as requisitions/shopping carts/other payment types ensure/manage compliance with UK Business Procedures Manual responsible for determining which cost center has appropriate budget/is appropriate for business purpose requested process personal services contracts process payments and invoices provide expertise regarding cash handling/to include cash income in accordance with UK Business Procedures/Policies responsible for understanding internal controls, UK Cash Handling policy, reconciliation, documentation of cash Financial Reporting and Analysis aid in developing CoSW’s annual budget, expense projections, & year-end closing schedule contribute to various annual productivity and financial reports for both internal/external constituencies. Project current funds availability facilitating oversight on college accounts provide ad-hoc reporting to the college’s financial leaders when requested Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Attention to Detail, Organization. Effectively communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
