What a ​College Intern - Manufacturing Process does at HP:

The candidate will learn about industry knowledge on Final Assembly manufacturing processes, gain exposure to Industry 4.0 solutions and technologies as well as technical skills such as Root Cause Analysis, Lean Six Sigma, Data Analysis and executive presentation skills.Work as part of the Process Engineering team to ensure the assembly processes met both quality and operational metrics in the manufacturing of Inkjet Printhead.Participate in technical investigation and failure analysis for process related quality issues.Collaborate with team mates or partners on Industry 4.0 engineering & Continuous Improvement projects to innovate new concepts and enhance process capabilities and line productivity.

Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:

Bachelor or Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science degree or equivalent.Demonstrated understanding of the concepts of manufacturing processes and data analytics preferred.Ability to grasp new technologies and methodologies quickly. Demonstrated clear analytical and problem-solving capability throughout university course work. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
