the university. Required Related Experience None Required License/Registration/Certification None Physical Requirements May require lifting up to 10 pounds, sitting for extended periods of time, repetitive motion. Shift Flexible schedule; Based on course needs. Job Summary An Instructional Aide is an academically qualified graduate student that assists instructors in preparing and managing course materials.

Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and be currently enrolled as a graduate student at the university.

This position does not include tuition or student health plan assistance.

Instructional Aides do not perform teaching duties.

Duties May Include:
Grade homework, quizzes and exams for assigned course
Maintain written records of grades earned in close consultation with courseinstructor
Proctor tests including mid-term and fi nal exams
Provide support for lecture set up and demonstrations as needed
Provide support for learning management system (CANVAS)
Assist with the development of visual aids, answer keys, supplementary notes, etc.
Assist with clerical and administrative tasks related to the assigned course(copies, etc.)
Attend meetings as requested by instructor
Other duties as assigned Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Proficient in the use of technology and educational software. Commitment to compliance to confidentiality and data protection standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work independently. Must be dependable and deadline conscious. Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize.
