• Work closely with Marmon’s corporate and business leaders across the organization to implement strategies for attracting talented students and recent graduates to our team.
• Support relationships with strategically selected universities, colleges, and other educational institutions to identify top talent and engage with students to enhance Marmon’s employer brand.
• Play a key role in coordinating corporate-sponsored internship programs and other talent development initiatives.
• Support Marmon’s goal of providing meaningful professional experience and valuable learning opportunities for students to help build a diverse pipeline of potential teammates in our growing organization of 28,000+ employees at more than 400 locations worldwide.
What you'll do:
Develop and support college recruitment strategies that align with Marmon’s mission to provide sustainable operating income growth while maintaining the highest ethical standards and operating in an environmentally and socially responsible wayHelp build and maintain relationships with colleges, universities, and other educational institutions to identify top talent and promote the company as an employer of choiceCoordinate – and, as needed, attend – career fairs, campus events, and other recruitment activities to attract and engage with studentsCoordinate internship programs and other talent development initiatives to provide meaningful opportunities for students while building a pipeline of potential employees for the companyCollaborate with hiring managers and other internal stakeholders to identify current and future talent needs, and develop targeted recruitment plans to fill those needsSupport diversity and inclusion initiatives to attract and retain a diverse workforceMaintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment data and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and identify areas for improvement#LI-Hybrid
What you'll bring to the role:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field3-5 years of experience in college relations and/or campus recruitingSuperb communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong project management skills with demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and collaborate with a variety of internal and external stakeholdersFamiliarity with external job posting sites (Handshake, LinkedIn, etc.), applicant tracking systems and HRIS platforms (Workday experience a definite plus), and other recruitment-related technologies.Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite (particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, One Drive, Forms, and Teams) and Adobe AcrobatStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to use data and metrics to help leaders make informed decisions on college recruiting goals, program structure, and appropriate budget targetsKnowledge of employment laws and regulations related to recruitment and selectionPassion for talent acquisition and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusionIf you’re a creative, innovative, and results-oriented individual with a passion for attracting and retaining top talent, we invite you to apply for the exciting opportunity to become Marmon’s College Relations Specialist!
