This role will be specific to Data Quality and someone who has experience with OwlDQ or Collibra DQ – not informatica or other similar tools. The Collibra Developer should be technically strong in Collibra platform – including metadata management, data governance and data catalog - and has deep knowledge of workflow development programming, experience configuring, experience with Collibra connect, customizing and integrating data across multiple platforms. This role has the heavy focus on Data Quality as a specialty. A requirement will be to have experience with Collibra and the domain focus of Data quality and how to create data quality processes. There will be 2 key aspects to the role within Collibra, 1. In depth understanding on how to build rule in Collibra and then have the ability to understand how to build supplemental tools or reports to manage or detect failures. The process is manual currently and must be looking to find the failures to find them, would like to create a more pro-active approach to avoid human errors or simply missing items. - Partner with the Business teams who own the data and rules to enable them after they triage and identify issues. - This process will be for both new rule development and applied retroactively for existing rules. 2. Implementing Automation around the above point. Typical activities include developing business process workflows, developing integration between Collibra and other systems, configuring Collibra per business requirements, code/configuration migration between different environments. Production monitoring, creating monitoring dashboards, setting up alerts, triaging alerts. In this role, person will be responsible for creating and driving the technical vision for the team that designs, develops, tests, and operates our platform data quality services end to end. Working with functional analysts and other cross functional team to implement, customize and integrate data across multiple platforms. • 2 + years of combined experience with the lead industry Data Quality tool such as Collibra, Informatica, Talend, and similar • 2+ years of experience working in the data management focusing on data governance, data warehouse, data quality, data design, and development • Setup source systems to be profiled and monitor • Design and develop DQ rule specifications • Perform data profiling and identify DQ rules • Develop API to perform near real-time DQ rule executions • Expertise in writing SQL Query and shell scripting • Convert legacy rules into reusable rules to gain efficiency and consistency • Able to work independently with some guidance from the Collibra DQ Lead • Experience with Data Quality Management, including rule development, rule automation, exceptions management and issues remediations • Teamwork and problem-solving skills
