**Job Title: Mechanic** **Job Description** Perform work as outlined on repair orders efficiently and accurately with limited supervision. This includes body work on trucks, collision repair, panel replacements, painting truck parts and equipment, and some welding. You will work extensively with fiberglass and will need to use hand and power tools to fabricate products, as well as work on hydraulics and perform mechanic duties. **Responsibilities** + Perform body work on trucks and collision repair. + Work extensively with fiberglass. + Replace panels on trucks. + Paint truck parts and equipment. + Conduct some welding tasks. + Use hand and power tools to fabricate products. + Work on hydraulic systems. + Perform general mechanic duties. **Essential Skills** + 1 year of mechanic experience or installation experience on vehicles, specifically industrial trucks. + Experience with repairing and replacing truck bodies. + Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. + Experience with truck repair, autobody repair, and collision repair. + Proficiency in using hand and power tools. + Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and welding. + Experience with diesel engines, repair, troubleshooting, and pneumatics. + Ability to read blueprints. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Forklift experience required. + Must have own small hand tools and tool box to use at the shop. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic and engaging workplace where you can utilize and develop your skills. The environment can be loud at times and warm during the summer, but overhead doors are opened for air flow. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
