Major Responsibilities:
• Apply vinyl wraps to vehicles, including cars, trucks, vans, and specialty vehicles, following design specifications and ensuring a smooth and even application.
• Clean and prepare vehicle surfaces thoroughly to ensure proper adhesion of vinyl material, which may include removing previous wraps or paint protection film.
• Interpret and follow design layouts and graphics provided by clients, ensuring accurate placement and alignment.
• Use cutting tools and precision techniques to trim excess vinyl material, create clean edges, and achieve a seamless finish.
• Pay close attention to detail, ensuring there are no wrinkles, bubbles, or imperfections in the applied vinyl, and addressing any issues promptly.
• Inspect completed wraps for quality and consistency, making necessary adjustments or corrections to meet high standards.
• Maintain wrapping equipment and tools and perform minor repairs or replacements as needed.
• Efficiently manage workflow to meet deadlines and ensure timely project completion.
• Follow safety guidelines and precautions to maintain a safe working environment.
• Communicate with clients to ensure their satisfaction and address any questions or concerns regarding the wrapping process.

Qualifications:
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• 1 year of part time or full-time apprentice experience in the automotive or heavy truck collision repair environment.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues during the wrapping process.
• Knowledge of different types of vinyl materials and their applications.
• Familiarity with wrapping tools and equipment, including heat guns, cutting tools, and squeegees.
• Flexibility to work on a variety of vehicle types and sizes.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers.\
• The associate must be able to perform all work adhering to DOT, OSHA, and all Penske safety and maintenance policies; including but not limited to the correct selection and use of appropriate tools, PPE, machine guarding, and established best safety practice.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• As this position requires driving Penske and customer vehicles, it is regulated by the DOT and requires a current driver qualification file to be maintained as required by the role. The driver qualification file includes: an annual motor vehicle records (MVR) check, a successfully completed DOT Physical, and Safety Performance History records request from prior employers in the last 3 years. Additionally, CDL holders will have a DOT Drug Screening within 30 days of start and subject to a FMCSA Clearinghouse review.
• Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background screening (to include criminal checks, past employment and education), the ability to pass a drug screen and physical as required by the Department of Transportation, and potential travel within a near geography for training are required.

• Given the frequent movement of large trucks through the workplace, the associate must be able to see and hear in order to safely navigate the work environment.
• The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg.
