**Weekend Shift Color Mixer (Ink Technician)** **Exciting pay rate!** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Color Mixer for our weekend shift. This role involves mixing color inks to match supplied targets, ensuring production schedules are met, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. This position is critical to our operations and requires a strong commitment to quality and precision. **Responsibilities** + Mix color inks to match supplied targets. + Read and understand production schedules. + Calculate the proper amount of ink required for each order. + Operate mixing machines to blend inks. + Perform trial procedures for backorders. + Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in color matching and mixing. + Ability to operate a forklift. + Experience with electric/air mixers, X-rite, and SPEC dispensers. + Ability to follow written directions and perform basic math calculations. + Physical ability to stand, stoop, squat, kneel, bend, pivot/twist, balance, and climb. + Capability to lift at least 60 lbs. from floor to waist frequently, and carry up to 60 lbs. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous experience in printing and ink mixing. + Strong attention to detail. + Good communication and teamwork skills. **Why Work Here?** This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with room for advancement and potential for a pay increase once hired permanently. The work environment may be slightly cold or hot but is not extensively temperature controlled. The dress code includes steel-toe/composite shoes, pants, and a t-shirt. No cell phones or air pods are allowed on the floor, but a speaker can be used at a reasonable volume. Breaks include two 10-minute breaks and one 20-minute paid lunch break. The facility has been in business since 1895 and prides itself on providing high-quality wallcovering products. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, Pennsylvania **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
