**Job Description**
**Hybrid** This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the Cole Engineering Center Tower, Warren MI three times per week, at minimum [or other frequency dictated by the business
This role requires a Spanish speaking individual
As a member of the Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for support in one of the key areas: manufacturing/warehouse operations, supply chain systems and processes, launch execution and scheduling and material management.
**EXPERTISE**
+ Understands different areas of their function and how the operations of their area relate to others.
+ Identifies and corrects non-routine problems in existing systems and processes through independent judgment. Independently identifies and applies appropriate company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
+ Works under general supervision with limited guidance and direction.
+ Determines an appropriate course of action within broad guidelines and can handle nearly every standard or typical request independently.
+ Demonstrates very good understanding of the processes and procedures relevant to own work area with the ability to exercise decision-making skills sufficient to identify and propose solutions to leadership.
+ Adapts communication style to reach agreement in own area in situations of moderate complexity, demonstrates flexibility and ability to compromise
+ Engages in daily interactions with subordinates and/or peers from other functional groups. These interactions typically involve the exchange or presentation of information.
**COMPLEXITY**
+ Exercises judgement within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
+ Applies learned techniques to drive the solution to a problem, which typically will involve coordinating and integrating efforts of a diverse team of colleagues.
**KEY JOB ELEMENTS:**
+ You will act as a liaison between purchasing, engineering, warehousing/manufacturing, logistics and suppliers to resolve issues and to provide support.
+ Lead recovery process for assigned Command Center cases with appropriate GM functional staffs and Assembly/Metal Centers.
+ Work with other coordinators managing critical supply issues that come into the NASO Command Center
+ Must have some flexibility and at times work extended and non-core hours to ensure issues are worked to resolution.
+ Flexibility to include rotation of short-term working off shift hours from home.
+ Ability to summarize critical issues with resolutions and communicate to leadership.
+ Develop and lead complex flow plans for supplier performance tracking and plant allocation of critical parts.
+ Will be using MGO, Web-focus and various other tools to analyze supply chain status and develop countermeasures when necessary.
+ Complete ad-hoc projects as the need arises including Holiday supplier work plans, premium reduction initiatives and late/increased production changes
+ Must be able to manage very complex & stressful supply issues to resolution with goal to eliminate/minimize plant disruptions and reduce premium transportation

**Additional Job Description**
**Required:**
+ 2+ years relevant post-graduate work experience in purchasing, supply chain, program/product management, logistics or product development
+ High level of analytical ability where problems can be somewhat complex.
+ High level of oral and written communication skills
+ Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
+ Ability to balance multiple assignments.
+ Computer skills and knowledge with understanding of (Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, etc.)
+ Spanish Speaking
**Preferred:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, related field
+ Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related advanced degree a plus
+ Production Control & Logistics Experience
+ Proficient in MGO
+ Material system knowledge (MGO-A and MGO-C)
+ Purchasing system knowledge (GPS)
+ Skilled in managing projects.
+ Planning and interpersonal abilities
+ Ability to work independently and self-directed.
+ Plant Experience
