The Work You'll Do:
Corporate Account Executives are responsible for working with new clients to sell company products and to close long-term contracts. Additional responsibilities include contract negotiations, updating sales force automation and all other aspects of the prospecting and sales renewals sales process. This role will be responsible for the sales process from BRFC to Close, while leveraging resources effectively throughout the sales cycle on strategic deals, whiling articulating the value propositions of Sovos’ products and services. This role will work with various departments throughout the company with an emphasis on Sales, Legal and Finance. Additional responsibilities include contract negotiations, updating sales force automation and all other aspects of the prospecting and sales renewals sales process.
More specifically, you will:
Prospect within the assigned territory to generate leads and grow pipeline opportunities for new client sales. Sell and promote SaaS solutions to new accounts. Develop and execute strategic opportunity plans to achieve sales goals. Demonstrate integrity and ethical behavior in all interactions with stakeholders. Take full ownership of ensuring internal and external client satisfaction. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to share new ideas and business development strategies. Utilize multiple communication methods effectively. Manage time and prioritize tasks efficiently. Plan and execute territory strategies effectively. Ask thoughtful questions to understand client needs and uncover opportunities. Serve as a role model and mentor by sharing best practices and messaging across the organization. Remain open to learning from other sales roles, internal teams, and client experiences.
What We Need From You
Ability to navigate and manage end-to-end sales cycles. 1-3 years of experience in a business development or quota-carrying sales role, preferably in software solution sales. Familiarity with contact management solutions, preferably Salesforce.com. Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience. At Sovos, we are committed to offering competitive pay and benefits that reflect both industry and market standards.
We expect that this role will pay a base salary of $55,000 annually; with a target annual commission of $55,000. Our quota carrying sales roles offer uncapped commission opportunities, which will impact the total compensation one will earn each year. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience. Our quota carrying team members in our go to market organization also have the chance to earn additional incentives, including a trip to President’s Club. While we are committed to giving an overview of compensation, salary is just one component of our comprehensive Total Rewards package.
