Hybrid (Combination of work from home and in-assigned office location) Responsibilities About the role: You, as the Commercial Account Manager II (CAM II), will be responsible for providing dealership and internal customer service while functioning as liaison between the GM Financial (GMF) Commercial Lending Services (CLS) and Sales teams. The CAM II will coordinate and manage all floorplan account related requests. You will also be utilizing or reviewing various internal reports, monthly dealership operating/ financial statements, bank statements, and floorplan audit results. The CAM II assesses potential risk issues and develops appropriate steps to mitigate. This includes accurate reporting of findings, ensuring corporate compliance and risk management, as well as contact with dealership personnel and communication with internal/external stakeholders. You as a successful CAM II will have frequent contact with dealer principals and staff, GMF leadership and GM/GMF Sales teams over a geographically assigned portfolio. In this role you will: Central point of contact for all internal and external customer commercial lending requests; coordinates and manages requests to completion Effectively communicates with dealership owners to discuss trends/issues and identifies additional GMF business opportunities Monitors and manages assigned dealership portfolio; performs financial analysis utilizing monthly financial statements; provides proactive risk recognition by developing realistic and actionable plans to mitigate risk when identified and elevate to CLS leadership where warranted by risk and exposure Uses data analysis and judgment when solving problems; investigates to gain a better understanding of complex situations and provides a consultative approach in supporting the dealer customer Works closely with legal counsel to identify potential legal or security issues that may impact GMF rights to enforce agreements or put collateral in jeopardy Knowledge of credit underwriting, accounting, financial statement analysis, cash flow and dealer workout; proficient in Microsoft Office Innovative thinker with strong analytic skills and ability for strategic vision, self-motivated, able to work independently and interface with all levels of management Strong verbal and written communication skills including presentation, interpersonal, and persuasive skills Qualifications What makes you a dream candidate?
