Overview Our organization is seeking a highly motivated Manager of Commercial Analytics to advance our revenue management analytics capabilities. You will be joining a dynamic team and playing a critical role in enabling our portfolio of properties with the decision-making information used by our revenue managers, field leaders, corporate executives, and property owners. Timely, accurate insights are our competitive advantage, and this role is pivotal to our success. The primary focus involves leveraging revenue management analytics to improve hotel performance. This includes (1) supporting the revenue management community and their use of our analytics solutions, (2) ensuring day-to-day data reliability and quality of data flows from the commercial systems, and (3) enabling the development of new analytics to support the company’s aggressive growth plans. This leadership role involves operational execution, technical acumen, and strategic design. You will join a team led by the Director of Business Analytics and play a crucial part in advancing our data strategy and supporting the company's ever-expanding appetite for information. An ideal candidate takes ownership of driving success of the revenue management community and can identify opportunities and solve problems with the help of internal partners and critical-thinking skills.   Essential Functions:   The Commercial Analytics Manager responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Maintain Strong Relationships with the Revenue Management Community Support the revenue management community and ensure their effective use of our analytics tools Diagnose and work with the Data Engineering Team to resolve data integrity issues Provide ongoing training and education Collaborate with the revenue management community to design and evolve our analytics solutions to better serve their dynamic needs Champion Commercial Systems Lead the connection of commercial systems for new properties entering the portfolio Drive system integrations to new commercial systems Maintain access control to our analytics tools Liaise with the Brands and commercial system providers to understand their data catalog, ensure data availability, and follow their evolving capabilities so we can efficiently leverage their solutions Other responsibilities as assigned Qualifications 3-7 years of experience in hotel revenue management A Bachelors (or Masters) degree in hospitality management or a related field Active hands-on experience with various revenue management systems – both front-end use and back-end setup and integration Top-end communication and relationship management skills Seamless ability to collaborate with functional and technical teams Smart analytics: the ability to quickly spot trends, outliers, and anomalies Reflex problem-solving skills Confidence to work independently and to rally collaboration from various stakeholders A drive to learn about the latest technologies and methodologies Proficiency in SQL, Azure tools, and PowerBI a plus Character of respect, ownership, collaboration, and a learning/growth mindset   This role involves a balance of driving operational excellence with advancing a strategy for directly enabling the success of our properties.
