Main Responsibilities
As the Commercial and International Transit Manager, you will oversee the operational and commercial management of import-export activities, ensuring profitability and the seamless execution of transactions.
Commercial Operations Management
Lead and coordinate purchasing and sales operations for food products. Manage international sales files: from negotiation to product delivery. Monitor customer and supplier orders, from contract signing to invoicing. Ensure proper application of Incoterms, logistics procedures, and documentation flows.Business Development
Identify and prospect new markets and partners (customers and suppliers). Develop tailored commercial offers based on client needs and market dynamics. Negotiate prices and contract terms, fostering trustful relationships with partners. Contribute to the company’s growth strategy development and implementation.Operations and Team Management
Supervise the operational team and allocate tasks effectively. Monitor ongoing files to ensure deadlines and commitments are met. Manage operational priorities in alignment with international market demands.Performance Monitoring and Dispute Resolution
Track performance indicators: volumes, costs, margins, and customer satisfaction. Handle commercial and logistical disputes with customers or suppliers. Propose solutions to optimize internal processes and strengthen the company’s competitiveness.Required Skills
Professional Expertise
Proven experience in international trading (preferably in food products).
Strong knowledge of import-export procedures, Incoterms, and international commercial documentation.
Expertise in negotiation and business development in global markets.
Ability to manage operational teams and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Technical Knowledge
In-depth understanding of logistics flows and customs regulations.
Proficiency in using office tools for transaction tracking.
Familiarity with food product markets (seasonality, quality standards, regulations).
Candidate Profile
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in International Trade, Management, or Supply Chain.
Personal Qualities: Strong organizational and analytical skills, excellent negotiation abilities, attention to detail, and adaptability to unexpected challenges.
