That is why we are looking for an experienced Commercial Auto Claims Leader to join our Liability leadership claim group, reporting to our SVP – North America Auto Claims Leader. This group guides the development, implementation, and execution of service and auto claim outcome strategies with data-driven insights, best practices, training framework, and talent management strategies. The successful candidate for our role will embody our company’s values, leading from the front while galvanizing a team to action. A cross-team collaborator informing quality, outcome and excellence with our product offering and service to our customers and claimants. Key Attributes for the Successful Candidate Advanced understanding of insurance claims and related operations, and a deep understanding and network in the Auto Casualty industry. In addition to bodily injury related matters, specific emphasis on large scale auto physical and property damage claim operations Ability to interpret and articulate claims data insight and drive action Proven ability to operate in an entrepreneurial, rapid-growth environment Experience building, managing and/or influencing large teams The ability to attract talent at all stages of their careers, from a deep network within the Insurance community A mindset that is both operationally driven and adaptable; proven experience implementing processes, setting KPIs, monitoring results, and the ability to pivot when required A combination of large and small company experience is ideal Record of accomplishment in developing next-generation leaders as evidenced by their career successes Ability to drive superior claim outcomes When called upon, be the face of the claims operation with brokers, agents, carriers, captives, prospective and in-force clients, and other market-facing activities How you'll make an impact Operational Strategy Leading the development and enhancement of our operating model: Best Practices Claim handling standards Training and continuing education (new hire, continuous learning and practice roundtables) Quality approach (i.e., audit criteria and implementation) Oversight/escalation approach (i.e., what claims rise to his/her desk for review?) Operating and claim outcome KPI formalization Profiling, evaluation and selection of talent Operational Execution Build and execute training plan for Auto Liability service teams handling Oversee processes and vendor services that drive efficiency for the claims Develop and implement change management practices and procedures that enhance the claims organization. Build key functions from the ground level while supporting the scaling and standardizing of other areas of business Drive customer focus leading to their greater satisfaction Leadership Building and scaling Auto Claims Operations function Enterprise-level strategic decision-making on issues that impact the GB Auto Claims team Effectively control and direct the activities of the Claims Auto Liability Operations team bringing significant impact on the company Lead the recruitment, interviewing, hiring and training of supervisory and management staff within Auto Liability Claims Operations About You Required Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field required; 10+ years of experience in claim operations. with progressively increasing responsibility, or similar experience from related field In addition to deep auto bodily injury matter experience, major emphasis on large scale auto physical and property damage claim operations Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related applications Proven track record of team performance management and employee relations items in accordance with company policy Desired Education and Experience: Professional designations for claims or legal professionals #LI-SR1 Compensation and benefits On top of a competitive salary, great teams and exciting career opportunities, we also offer a wide range of benefits.
