Commercial Channel Manager

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Commercial Channel Manager who will play a key role in developing and managing partnerships with distributors and various purchasing channels that drive sales and market presence in the academic, pharma, and biotech space.  This role requires a strategic thinker who understands process and can manage projects and relationships both internally and externally as it pertains to channel management and execution. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate potential channel partners based on strategic fit, market reach and distribution capabilities. Work with internal business teams and legal to outline the terms of the partnership as they align to business goals and objectives. Work with Sales to determine account-based strategies for growth through the various channels and channel partners. Monitor and enforce contractual obligations on both sides. Provide ongoing support, training, and resources to partners to ensure their success. Collaborate with Bio-Techne Marketing and the channel partner to promote visibility and accessibility through designated distribution channels. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new channel partners. Work with Fisher Scientific to strengthen partnership and grow business through this existing channel. Monitor and analyze sales performance through channel partners and our internal reporting systems.  Provide a comprehensive review as it relates to the strategy and insights for improvement.  Report on a quarterly basis. Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to better utilize channels and meet business goals.
