Position Overview: The Commercial Construction Project Manager is responsible for oversight and coordination of all construction activities in the construction of commercial buildings. The Project Manager works closely with teams to ensure projects are completed on schedule and on budget while ensuring safety and quality control. The Project Manager will need to be able to handle a wide variety of tasks, such as pre-construction activities, estimating, problem-solving, project financials, cash flow management, and representing the company at meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the development of multi-million dollar commercial construction projects from pre-construction to completion.Prepare project budgets, coordinate project scheduling and establish project milestonesDevelop and implement plans for controlling project costs, labor and materialsHire contractors and subcontractors for the projectMonitor and coordinate activities of staff, subcontractors and vendorsPerform regular site visits to ensure work is being performed in accordance with plans and specificationsInterface with clients, architects, engineers and other stakeholders related to the projectEnsure projects are completed on or ahead of schedule and within budgetConduct regular safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety regulationsEnsure projects comply with applicable regulations, codes and standards

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Construction Management, or a related fieldAt least 3+ years of experience in the construction industry, with experience in pre-construction and estimatingExcellent problem-solving, negotiation and project financials skillsAbility to manage cash flow and project budgetsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office programs and MS Project softwareKnowledge of ProCore software and LEED accreditation is a plusBenefits
