As a Commercial Day Porter, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining various workplace environments on the 2nd shift. Duties + Arrive on time and prepared to perform your assigned shift duties effectively. + Maintain cleanliness in offices and work areas by emptying trash, replacing liners, and cleaning windows and windowsills. + Vacuum, dust/sweep, and mop floors, including stairs. + Ensure restrooms are sanitary, stocked, and supplied for client use. + Keep janitorial closets organized and clean. Requirements + Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass a background check. + Legally eligible to work in the United States. + Dependable transportation required. + Must be reliable, have a strong work ethic, and pay attention to detail. + Experience in commercial cleaning is preferred. + Ability to listen to customer requests and follow directions from supervisors. + Adhere to building or client-specific COVID protocols. + Effective communication skills in English. The physical requirements of this position include walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive cleaning motions. You will utilize various cleaning equipment and supplies; lifting up to 35 lbs. is necessary.
