Commercial Demand Generation Media Lead
Microsoft’s Global Media Team is a diverse, collaborative, solutions-oriented team committed to planning, activating and fiscally managing all media spend across Microsoft.  The team works across business groups to tie objectives, insights and innovation together to drive business impact through world-class media strategies, plans and results. The team’s responsibilities extend to driving market intelligence and contributing to Microsoft’s media innovation across media channels and ad tech. The Commercial Demand Generation Media Lead plans, activates and optimizes across all media types including pay-per-lead, social media, banner, native, and/or pay-per-click campaigns supporting Microsoft’s commercial priorities including Azure, GitHub, and Security offerings. You will partner closely with Microsoft’s agency of record (AOR), analysts, research and insights team and across other Microsoft teams to drive successful execution for impactful lead generation campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a background in pay-per-lead tactics. This also involves improving scoring models and lifecycle management for leads by facilitating sales handoff, prioritization, and automated nurture programs. + Plan and manage all digital media types including, pay-per-lead, banner, native, pay-per-and/or social media to meet global timelines and approval deadlines + Partner with data analysts to implement overall global digital measurement framework to measure success and optimize paid media investments. + Identify strategic opportunities, trends, and share insights to generate new opportunities Influence Industry Standards Proactively monitor the changing media landscape, how it will affect media lead generation audience targeting, to evolve with or ahead of, industry changes + Drive Accountability for All Media Investments + Embrace and encourage an audience first lens through which all media campaigns are planned, executed and optimized + Mange expectations with stakeholders regarding media planning, execution, reporting and other deliverables + Embody our Culture (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/about/corporate-values) and Values (https://careers.microsoft.com/us/en/culture) **Qualifications** **Required/Minimum Qualifications** + Bachelor's Degree in Business, Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or related field AND 2+ years experience in media, marketing, or advertising on the client or agency side + OR equivalent experience. + 2 + years experience in the lead generation space + Experience in commercial pay-per-lead media tactics **Additional or Preferred Qualifications** + 6+ years experience in the lead generation space + 6+ years experience working across digital media channels (e.g., pay-per-lead, social, SEM, programmatic buying, addressable TV). + 6+ years experience using data-driven media tactics, including advanced targeting models, measurement and learning plans, making optimizations based on data. + 6+ years experience managing projects (e.g., communications, internal stakeholder management timelines, prioritization, road mapping). + Experience working for a content syndication partner Media IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $83,400 - $167,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $108,900 - $183,000 per year.
