Job Summary
Responsible for driving the Mobile MRI Coach to scheduled practice locations representing Lexington Medical Center (LMC). The driver is responsible for leveling, configuring, parking and setting up according to guidelines set forth by the coach manufacturer. The individual must have a CDL Class A license. They are required to perform inspections before and after a trip. Driver will also follow appropriate safety procedures and maintain appropriate logs.
Minimum QualificationsMinimum Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum Years of Experience: 5 Years of Direct Experience

Required Certifications/Licensure: Current South Carolina Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A);
Must have and maintain DOT Physical card.
Required Training: Must have acceptable driving safety record;
Must be able to pass a drug test, background check and fit for duty.
Essential Functions Follows all South Carolina traffic and vehicle operator laws. Commits to never texting while driving. Projects a pleasant, professional appearance and alert attitude that reflects the goals of the Service Excellence and Corporate Compliance policies. Required to travel to and accept assignments in any area of the State, where mobile services are needed. Ability to plan routes. Follows appropriate safety measures for transporting medical equipment. Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations. (traffic, weather conditions, etc.) Possesses the ability to appropriately prioritize and perform multiple tasks at one time, as well as modifying plans and approaches based on changing situations, needs and follows-through to achieve final resolution. Responsible for driving Mobile MRI Coach to scheduled site location, park and set up to receive patients in a timely and professional manner based on hospital policies and/or practice standards. Ability to drive long hours if necessary. Follows all truck driving rules and regulations. For Lexington Medical Center owned truck: Responsible for ensuring all scheduled maintenance is performed on time; maintains truck in impeccable condition; maintains tire pressure regularly and responsible for oil level, washer fluid, transmission fluid, brake fluid and responsible for regular safety checks of all lights and signals. Duties & Responsibilities Report defects, accidents and violations immediately. Must keep the coach supplied with fuel for the backup generator. Must do walk around checks before travel to ensure truck and trailer safety. Inspects parking pads to ensure they are clear and clean before parking coach. Practice cost effective use of supplies. Ability to work independently. Understands and supports mission statement, rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and protocols of Lexington Medical Center. Arrives to work on time and is prepared to begin work promptly. Adheres to work schedule and is flexible when schedule requires. Evaluates any problems with Mobile MRI Coach and have problems scheduled for repairs as needed. Schedule and drive Mobile MRI to routine washing and services. Maintains a good communication relationship with service repairmen. Have the expertise to know when the equipment is not working correctly. Demonstrate exceptional work ethic and sense of responsibility. Demonstrates exceptional Service Expectations.
