Job Title: Commercial Drywall Helper

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Drywall Helper with experience in framing, hanging, and finishing drywall on walls and ceilings. The ideal candidate will have the necessary tools for their specific tasks and a strong knowledge of the materials used in drywall installation and finishing. While the ability to install acoustical ceilings and run finishing tools is a plus, it is not required.

ResponsibilitiesFrame metal stud walls and drywall ceilings.Hang drywall on walls and ceilings.Finish drywall on walls and ceilings to levels 4 and 5.Perform tasks such as taping, corner bead, angles, and soffits.Fire/smoke caulk and sound caulk (preferred but not required).Read and interpret blueprint wall ratings (preferred but not required).Essential SkillsAbility to frame metal stud walls and drywall ceilings.Proficiency in hanging drywall on walls and ceilings.Skilled in finishing drywall to level 4 and 5, including taping, corner bead, angles, and soffits.Possession of all necessary drywall and framing hand tools.Knowledge of materials used in drywall installation and finishing.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to install acoustical ceilings (preferred but not required).Experience with finishing tools (preferred but not required).Ability to fire/smoke caulk and sound caulk (preferred but not required).Ability to read blueprint wall ratings (preferred but not required).Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment includes commercial construction sites, requiring the use of hand tools, sand poles, and other equipment necessary for drywall framing, hanging, and finishing. The role may involve working with concrete, metal studs, and carpentry tasks in new construction projects.


Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $29.00
