Job Title: Electrical Mechanic - Commercial Construction\n

Position Overview: We are seeking motivated and dedicated individuals to join our Commercial Construction team as an Electrical Mechanic for projects in the Danville and surrounding areas. In this role, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate and grow your skills in the trade, along with training and teaching apprentices and helpers. \n

Responsibilities:\n\nThorough knowledge in the electrical trade \nCutting, bending, threading and installation of EMT conduit of all sizes\nExperience bending offsets, 3 points, 4 points, saddles, kicks, 90's, etc.\nAbility to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, submittals, etc.\nAssisting in hooking up\/terminating electrical panels, set fixtures, and various electrical devices\nExperience seeing installs from start to finish\nAbility to read and interpret construction\/coordination drawings and blueprints\nWork as a trainer and mentor for helpers and apprentices\nMust have a valid driver's license and dependable transportation\n\n

Requirements:\n\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nVocational school or prior training preferred.\nBasic understanding of trade principles and concepts.\nStrong interest in the trade and a desire to learn and develop new skills.\nExcellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.\nGood physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.\nExcellent communication and teamwork skills.\nCommitment to safety and following established protocols.\nPre-employment drug screen and background check will be performed. \n\n
