Commercial Equipment Finance Senior Team Lead
Overview:


Provide more complex accounting, reporting and customer service support for Commercial Equipment Finance.  Lead more complex department projects as assigned.


Primary Responsibilities:Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, time management, lateral thinking and problem-solving skillsAbility to multitask for various components of complex projectsMentoring and leadership capabilitiesAbility to work in a team environment as well as autonomously.May manage a team of professionalsResponsible for completely and accurately documenting key business unit processes.  Identify and assess risks and internal controls associated with these key processes.Accurately complete Risk Control Self Assessments (RCSAs) and other risk management reporting.  Assist in the reporting of risk events and loss events.Manage all aspects of new product implementation and existing product modifications to include but not limited to the design and development of services; act in a liaison capacity with affected departments.Ensure assigned staff maintain a current knowledge of the policies, processes, and regulations affecting monitoring and/or auditing activities to ensure validity of analyses and findings.Accounting, operations and servicing in support of performance, productivity, risk management, planning and product development in the CEF groupTax administration including personal property taxPerform special projects or assignments as requested by managementManage the identification of process or procedural improvements.  Ensure the development of appropriate recommendations and the implementation of those approved.Responsible for facilitating complex projects through post implementation.  Participates in meetings with line of business to identify the requirements in how an application looks and feels to end users and provide feedback. Acts as project lead to ensure test plans and specifications are completed in a timely basis. Complete various system testing activities such as User Acceptance Testing (UAT).Pricing structure audit, complex structuresUpdates & enhancements to functionality for new and changing business and regulatory requirements (i.e., BIC, LCR, 2052a, FASB, etc.)Profitability Management and Reporting, Multi-bank Reporting and ManagementPerformance Analytics and ReportingLiquidity Risk Management (NSFR, LCR, FR2052a compliance)Maintain a thorough and current knowledge of the policies, processes and regulations affecting activities to ensure validity of analyses and reports.Serve as subject matter expert on activities and provide guidance and training to less experienced personnelWork with vendor and technical team to gain a thorough understanding of project functionality and provide insight on implementation.

Education and Experience Required:Minimum of seven years combined higher education and/or operational/business analytics/finance/accounting experience or equivalent.

M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $71,985.72 - $119,976.20 Annual (USD). The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
