Position Specific Description

Position Description:

Looking for an energetic individual to support our Fiber team, you will be responsible for leading various fiber development and project management initiatives. You will develop, streamline and implement products, processes and standards that will enable you to learn key insights and understand the impacts to our Fiber business strategies. This is an exciting time to join our Fiber team and you will gain a valuable experience.

 

Our Fiber business model is to build, own, and operate fiber infrastructure to small cells, macro towers, private networks, commercial properties, residential communities and data centers.  

 

In order to be successful, you will rely on close collaboration with the product development, engineering, project controls, project development, project management and standards team.

 

Responsibilities:

Research, analyze, and define fiber products Create a process to test and test equipment at the Lab Develop and improve handoff processes between teams Implement Design/Builder pre-determined suppliers Create and streamline scope of work templates Support material procurement needs Support ArcGIS/strand mapping implementation Support fiber labeling design standards Support FTTP equipment standards

Job Overview

To be considered for an internship, you must be actively enrolled at a college or university as a full-time student seeking a bachelor’s degree or higher. You must also have a current cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher (on a 0.00 to 4.00 scale).

Job Duties & Responsibilities Assists department with assigned projects Completes challenging projects and assignments Presents final project to senior leadership at the end of the internship Assumes responsibility for own travel, lodging, and transportation necessary to be available for the program Performs other job-related duties as assigned Required Qualifications High school grad / GED Maintain active enrollment in a Bachelor or higher degree program Maintain cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher Preferred Qualifications None
