BAT Australia is looking for a Commercial Finance Manager, where you will play a critical role in shaping strategic financial decisions that drive business success. Your expertise in pricing, data analytics, and stakeholder collaboration will enable optimised portfolio management, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.

This role is about more than just numbers—it’s about influence, strategy, and leadership. You will work cross-functionally to deliver key pricing initiatives, enhance financial processes, and support governance compliance, all while fostering a high-performance culture.

What you will be accountable forDeliver pricing scenarios and modelling to influence and enable strategic financial decisions on portfolio optimisation and ladderingImplement best practice data analytic and model buildingDeliver a seamless process in price list releases, through alignment with Commercial and wider functionsDrive and own relationship, and manage queries with offshore centres of excellence, DRBU and Regional teamsDrive cross-functional team collaboration with wider Commercial teamSupport Senior Commercial Finance Manager on ad-hoc activitiesEnsure all governance processes and requirements are adhered to with strong focus on compliance, ensuring SOX readiness and Audit readinessDedicate to our governance and compliance culture to ensure an operating environment with the appropriate controls and dedication to deliver high standards of corporate governance and integrity

Do you enjoy delivering in fast paced environments? Are you insightful, comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty, pro-active, collaborative, and consultative?Crucial Experience, Skills and KnowledgeDegree or equivalent experience with professional qualification (CA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA/MBA), preferred Big 4 experience in previous rolesMinimum of 5 years’ experience in a FMCG or similar dynamic operating environmentStrong leadership, interpersonal, and collaborators’ management skillsBroad experience in large global organization within depth knowledge in specific FMCG process areasStrong influencing, communication, and interpersonal skillsExperience in strategic analysis & planning and execution, performance metrics, project evaluation and commercial competence,Ability to simplify large amounts of data/complex situations and communicate and present to collaboratorsRemuneration and Benefits
