Job Description: \n

As a Commercial HVAC Changeout Technician, you will be responsible for the efficient replacement and commissioning of commercial HVAC systems. This role is crucial in ensuring our clients' buildings have reliable and efficient heating and cooling solutions through the seamless transition from old to new systems. This position is not for new construction installations, and there is no on call for this position. \n

Responsibilities:\n\nSafely disconnect and remove old HVAC units and associated components.\nInstall new HVAC units, including connecting electrical wiring and refrigerant lines.\nConduct system tests to ensure proper functioning and performance.\nTroubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the changeout process.\nMaintain accurate records of work performed and provide detailed reports.\nCommunicate effectively with building owners or managers on job sites. \nEnsure all work complies with local codes, regulations, and safety protocols.\nSafely drives company vehicle, follows requirements of company vehicle driving policy and adheres to all safety requirements.\n\n

Qualifications:\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent. \nMinimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC changeout\/installation or HVAC service\/repair. Commercial experience preferred. \nStrong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and changeout procedures.\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.\nProficient in the use of HVAC diagnostic tools and equipment.\nExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.\nStrong communication and customer service skills.\nValid driver's license with an insurable driving record. \nUniversal EPA certification required; Manufacturer-specific training is a plus.\n\n

Physical Requirements:\n\nAbility to lift up to 85 pounds.\nComfortable working in various environments, including rooftops and confined spaces.\nCapable of standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods. \n\n
